First Day of School verdict

First day went about as good as we could have hoped, for all three kids. Aubrey…that girl is about as animated as they come. I wish I would have videoed her. I popped in at home to see how everybody’s day went, and she goes, “DADDY! I just got back from PRESCHOOL! And I didn’t even cry. I just LOVED it! My teachers ALL LIKED ME! At recess we went outside and I went on the tire swing, and we sang songs, and we had punch and a snack and we sang songs…oops, I said that! We sang songs, and we played, and GUESS WHAT? I get to go back SOON!!!”
For those who know my kids, you won’t be at all surprised to hear that the other two were just a tad less animated about their day…but it sounds like it went well.

Last year I had a little party at my house on the first day of school, at 10 am, for friends who were free, finally free.
