We had a fun night! Talli was a detective, Hayley a hippie, and Aubrey a cow.

I’m tired.

I’m really tired. But I’m also happy, for which I am really grateful.
So no exciting blogging tonight. But, thank you…thank you for the great comments lately. Thanks to the Quaker bloggers out there who’ve been reading and discussing. (I’ve been mentally writing a series of “Why I’m a Quaker” posts, so watch out. But [...]

I’m finishing up preparations for tomorrow (covering why world missions is essential in just 5 minutes is not an easy task). Digging through notes from seminary, I found something pretty amazing. It was from a class that didn’t particularly stand out at the time as earth-shattering, called “Biblical Foundations for Missions” by Chuck Van Engen. [...]

And I thought I was above all this…

Lookie, lookie: my face on Andrew Jones’ blog. (Well, my face behind my hand…)
I’m sure I shouldn’t be such a celebrity gawker…but it’s better than a celebrity stalker!

Worship yesterday

Date October 24, 2005

We finished our journey through Colossians by having the entire letter read out loud. The feedback was all positive-hearing the entire book in one sitting was challenging for our hyper-stimulated, visual lifestyle, but it still worked.
I had a brainstorm of importing Colossians into Microsoft Word and using the auto-summarize command to see what Microsoft would [...]
