Man of mystery

Elaine and I just got invited to our first murder mystery dinner party. You know, where you play a role, and get clues, and try to figure out who committed the murder. (I’m still trying to figure out what it means for my pacifist commitment if I end up being the killer…but I digress.)

We received the characters we will play for the evening. Here’s the description of mine:

Blaine Barnacle

A confirmed bachelor playboy with an enormous trust fund to support his lavish lifestyle. Blaine considers enjoying life to be his profession.

Sigh. Typecast again.
