Did you realize that just because somebody puts on a pastor’s conference, it doesn’t mean they go out and get the best seminar leaders on a given topic? That it might have something to do with the book they are trying to sell? That when Zondervan puts on a conference, there are a whole lot of Zondervan authors leading seminars?
You can laugh at me. I just figured it out.

I thought you knew that already! Doug mentioned it last year, but maybe you were too involved with Jimmy’s salmon spread (it *was* fairly amazing).

I’m slow as molasses sometimes. Dense as a doorknob.
I saw and talked with Shelley, and tomorrow I think I’m going to Doug’s seminar. I’ve been trying to go to lots of different stuff.

hey, while you’re there, and there’s all those resources lying about, see if you can find something to recommend to me about how to nurture one’s spiritual life when going to church becomes your job.
And maybe the salmon spread recipe?
